In this urban intervention the use of cheap cardboard generally associated with the promise of a future construction refers to architectural design. When public resources are specifically obtained from tax payers to build urban projects, the action of plating the facade with cardboard bricks questions the mechanism and methodologies that are used to build the contemporary cit. Short-term solution usually repeat imported models that refers to discourses of hegemonic “progress” and “Future”.
This intervention questioned the methodology used by some contractors that extract from the construction sites, and therefore from the citizens, a greater economic benefit than initially budgeted. This corrupted methodology is framed on the promise of “A Better Future” therefore the results are a mediocre urban impact that deteriorate the quality of life of all citizens.
